The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP) was established with an aim to bring Women Entrepreneurs trying to help each other on a common platform. It was established in December 1993 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 as a not for profit organisation. Today it holds the recognition of being one of India's premier institutions for women entrepreneurship.
ALEAP is NABET gold rank accredited and ISO 9001:2015 certified organization. has developed India’s first Industrial Estate exclusively for women entrepreneurs in Gajularamaram, Pragathi Nagar, Hyderabad creating employment opportunities for about 5,000 people.
ALEAP acts as a facilitator and helps women in acquiring entrepreneurial skills, guiding them to become
economically independent and assisting women from all walks of life in their enterprising
endeavours. ALEAP, came up with the idea of establishing Industrial Incubator dedicated
to Women Entrepreneurs way back in 2012-2013 and implemented the concept of
Incubation.
Atal Incubation Centre, ALEAP Women Entrepreneurs Hub (AIC ALEAP We-Hub),
is an effort towards creating innovative startup ecosystem to translate the dreams of young women into sustainable entrepreneurship. With the support of ATAL Innovation Mission (AIM) NITI Aayog, Government of India we have now scaled up our existing facility to
the state-of-the-art incubation centre with an objective to support a number of world class innovative start-ups.
The incubator is focusing on 6 sectors viz Biodegradable technologies, Biotechnology, Food
Processing, Garmenting &
Textiles, IT & ITES, Electronics & Engineering and 3D Printing.
AIC ALEAP WE HUB is situated in ALEAP’s Industrial Estate, Gajularamaram, Pragathi
Nagar, Hyderabad in a sprawling campus of 30 acres. It is India’s first and the only one
of its kind women entrepreneurs’ Industrial hub that has 169 entrepreneurs, in
manufacturing sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, Biotechnology, Packaging and
Printing, Textiles and Garments, Diagnostics, and Food Processing among others. The
incubation centre has state of the art facilities like co-working spaces, plug and play
devices, hi speed internet connectivity, Biotechnology Lab, and sophisticated machinery
for food processing, bulk garmenting, embroidery and others.
ALEAP India was the dream of women entrepreneurs, who wanted to train, guide, support and enhance the lives of other women.
